We have invested heavily in training in recent years to ensure that key members of our skilled workforce can provide high quality metal flooring and cladding. We provide a complete range of leadwork services for heritage sites such as Durham and Newcastle Cathedrals, and also for major house builders, architects and individual owners.

Durham Cathedral, the College, renovation including renewal of leadwork, eaves guttering, lead downpipes, slating and stainless steel roofing.

St Nicholas Cathedral, Newcastle, complete refurbishment of all leadwork.

Royal Victoria Infirmary , Newcastle, complete refurbishment of all leadwork and copper dome of St Lukes Chapel..

Lead Contractors Association

Wensley Roofing Ltd is one of the very few members of the Lead Contractors Association based in North East England. This association of craftsmen is committed to promoting the highest quality standards in leadwork. Applications for membership are carefully vetted, and LCA members must have their work inspected regularly to ensure that the Association's high standards are maintained. In the last inspection (in 2008) Wensley Roofing's craftsmanship achieved the very highest grade: excellent.
